May Lunch

Next lunch date 2nd May. Bold Forester, Beaulieu Road, Marchwood, Hampshire, SO40 4UQ

Seventeen turned up for March's lunch at the King Rufus, Eling. We had very good meal from £5.50 including a sweet. A smaller number than usual as four were new members but going by the pictures all enjoyed themselves.
The idea of a yacht trip was voiced and greeted with interest and we now have enough members to start up a philosophy group in May. The out and about group is progressing with a few interesting excursions planned.

Coach & Horses

Coach & Horses with its generous car park and rock feature garden setting was the venue this month and it too did not let us down. The food was excellent and generous considering our order was supposedly smaller portions. Seventeen of us turned up including two guests who we hope enjoyed the company.

January's lunch meeting was a grand success. Fifteen of us attended. The food was excellent, our roast selection was the best ever. The conservatory dining area gave a good ambience and the staff were attentive and pleasant. Prices were good and even free coffee was available. My first visit to the garden centre and it met with my approval although our kitchen window cill is getting a bit crowded with plants.
