May lunch

A few pic's from yesterday's event at the Jolly Sailor 'Aslett Creek' . Actualy was a nice lunch, decent food well presented, nicely cooked and at a fair price, I will go again. [Have to actually, I left my chapeau there].

Tuesday lunch club. Not a bad turn out seeing as a lot of the stalwart's were away enjoying them selves. Least ways I hope they were! Any how, it was a good venue, a nice lunch, served in cheerfull surrounds. A couple of new faces that I hope we see again. So here goes...

Oct lunch

The Tuesday Lunch was held this month at the Forest Inn, Ashurst. I could not count how many went as they wouldn't keep still but quite a few as one can see. Again I cannot really make an overall judgement on the food but mine [a Barnsley Chop] was delicious. Good value for the price I thought. The conditions were a little cramped, again as one can see but the company made up for any inconvenience

August lunch

Lunch at the 'Sir John Barleycorn' Very nice too. Twenty four of us turned up on a summers day and were treated to a decent lunch well not exactly treated as we had to pay but it was well cooked well presented and quite good value. In fact some of the faces of the ladies had to be seen when served with truly large portions of that which they had ordered! Nice day,nice place, nice lunch, excellent company.
