May's meeting

Brockenhurst College was the venue for today's lunch. Its reputation for good food with attentive service was without a doubt well deserved. The young staff under the watchful eye of the catering teacher were efficient and courteous. The meal consisted of various starters, choice of main meal and dessert, followed by coffee and biscuits for a total bill of £9. Twenty four of us sitting at three well spaced tables all agreed it was good value.

Meeting at Walhampton Arms

Excellent lunch at the Walhampton Arms. The carvery was good with ample selection of meats and vegetables. The room we had was furnished with large round tables and good decor to match. Twenty-five and one guest attended.
