Lunch at the Imperial China

Have to admit, having never eaten at a Chinese restaurant I was pleasantly gratified that their food is good and well presented. There were thirty-one of us seemingly almost the only diners in what was a well ventilated clean place to eat. The inside reminded me of the tardis far better and larger than the outside appearance,
I certainly enjoyed the experience.

The Hobler August 7th

What a treat, the Hobler restaurant had a covered raised staging available so that we could have our lunch alfresco. Twenty-nine of us made it and most of us enjoyed the meal. The rain held off until the time to leave when it did come down heavy but for those who waited it cleared allowing us to get to the cars without getting wet.

May's meeting

Brockenhurst College was the venue for today's lunch. Its reputation for good food with attentive service was without a doubt well deserved. The young staff under the watchful eye of the catering teacher were efficient and courteous. The meal consisted of various starters, choice of main meal and dessert, followed by coffee and biscuits for a total bill of £9. Twenty four of us sitting at three well spaced tables all agreed it was good value.

Excellent lunch at the Walhampton Arms. The carvery was good with ample selection of meats and vegetables. The room we had was furnished with large round tables and good decor to match. Twenty-five and one guest attended.
